Obesity are at increased risk for cancer

In 2013–2014, approximately one third of adults in the United States were overweight (body mass index [BMI] 25.0–29.9 kg/m²) and approximately one third had obesity (BMI ≥30 kg/m²). Approximately half of U.S. residents are unaware that adults who are overweight or have obesity are at increased risk for cancer.
